Gang Related is an American action drama television series that debuted on May 22, 2014 at 9/8c. The show is airing on Fox during the 2014–15 American television season. The network placed the original series order on May 8, 2013, for 13 episodes.
The series follows members of the elite Los Angeles Police Department's
multi-agency Gang Task Force as they take on the city's most dangerous
gangs, including one with which a task force member has ties.
The Pilot:
A member of the LAPD's Gang Task Force tries to hide his allegiance to
the underworld kingpin who secretly put him through the police academy
in this drama series. In the premiere, Ryan teams up with a street-savvy
veteran cop after his partner is killed by a well-known hoodlum.
The Second Episode: Sangre Por Sangre
Ryan tries to find the rival gang members who shot Carlos to stop a feud
from turning into a war as well as hide his own involvement in the
matter. Ryan finds himself falling for Jessica.
The Third Episode: Pecados del Padre
A Colombian informant is about to testify in Federal Court, but is freed
by an ambush, forcing Ryan to choose between his Task Force duties and
revealing the snitch's whereabouts to assist the Acosta family's quest
for legitimacy.
